Wallys Poublanc Barzu (born 1999- She/They) is a multidisciplinary visual artist living and working in Marseille, France. She holds degrees from ESA Pau-Tarbes (DNA, 2021) and ESA Nord-Pas-de-Calais Tourcoing (DNSEP, 2023). Her practice combines drawing, installation, video, performance, and workshop facilitation, and explores multiple systems of language (visual, textual, sonic, and performative) as tools to question, reconfigure, and bring into dialogue the avatars of reality, bodies, and untold or hypothetical spaces. She is particularly interested in post-internet contexts as grounds for speculative, poetic, and inclusive approaches, opening up new modes of perception and storytelling.
